Art has been part of my life since childhood, inspired by my grandfather, my mother, and a supportive high school art teacher who shaped how I view creativity. My teachers' belief in freedom taught me to let my work evolve as I grew.
Over the years, I’ve explored many mediums—acrylics, pencil, photography, watercolor, pottery, and sculpture. More recently, I’ve been drawn to paper mosaics, a technique I first introduced to my kindergarten students by turning recycled scraps into art. What began as a teaching tool soon became a new passion. Oil painting, on the other hand, allows me to capture the beauty of my surroundings in a fresh and personal way.
Now a transplanted Delawarean approaching retirement, I’m embracing the freedom to create more fully—making art that others can connect with through their own eyes.
